Enchanted Jenni delivers again

Enchanted Jenni Delivers at Cranbourne, Marking Second Winner for Lucy Yeomans Racing
Lucy Yeomans celebrated a special milestone on Friday night, landing her second career winner as Enchanted Jenni stormed home to claim the Fulmen Park BM66 Handicap (1600m) at her home track.
The victory was a richly deserved one for Yeomans and her growing boutique stable, Lucy Yeomans Racing, with the four-year-old mare showing grit and polish under a smart ride by Beau Mertens.
“It’s just an incredible feeling,” Yeomans said after the race. “We felt this horse had trained on, and to get this result at home on a Friday night — it really means a lot.”
Racing in the colours of Tony Ottobre, Enchanted Jenni was desperately waiting for a gap, when Mertens angled her along the rail. From there, the mare sprinted beautifully to hit the line strongly, securing a well-earned 2 length victory.
“She gave me a great feel the whole way,” said Mertens. “Once the gap came, she let down really well. Full credit to Lucy — the horse was ready to win.”
The result marks the second winner for Yeomans, who continues to turn heads in the Victorian training ranks with her personalised approach and dedication to her horses.
“I can’t thank Tony enough for his support, and of course Beau for a top ride,” Yeomans added. “This win shows we’re heading in the right direction. The team’s working hard, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.”
With two wins now on the board and the stable building momentum, Lucy Yeomans Racing is quickly becoming a name to watch at Cranbourne and beyond.
